Last day in Venice Beach/Santa Monica

Last day in LA today, had a lie in and made some more free pancakes which were slightly more successful. Mooched out into Venice Beach at about 12 looked at the markety beach front shops, and again the worlds biggest wino, the man with funny skates and a stereo, people selling their music, the world's biggest pot-head etc were allll still there! Bought a few bits and bobs and then walked all the way along the Venice Beach Boardwalk to Santa Monica Pier. Watched all the cyclists, Rollerbladers, runners and dog walkers along the way until we got to the fun fair on the pier - where we were in need of a mountain dew and a churro. We were too cold to walk bk to the number 333 shipped us home. After more mooching in the afternoon picking up last few bits n bobs, we had dinner then came out to watch and take pics of the sunset setting over Venice Beach. So pretty, and the palm trees look amazing against the sky!(would beat the sunsets your friends had up on TS Matt!) Had to re-pack this evening, taxi picks us up at 5:30am! crazy time then off to NYC at 9am! woop! off to the Empire State!
