Phillip Island- Penguin Parade!

Arrived in Melbourne at 8am (20/02/08) only to get on another bus to Phillip Island.. so another 3 hours later and in torrential rain we arrived and dragged our stuff to the hostel to be pleasently suprised with an upgrade to a cabin! kitchen, tv, bathroom and 1 bedroom and some shelf beds ( i had a shelf bed - suprisingly comfy!) When the rain had stopped we went down to the Tourist Info and booked the Penguin Parade for the evening! Definitely worth going to it.. at about 9am, we were able to watch the world's smallest penguin 'The little Blue Penguin' come in from about 17 hours of catching fish to go and feed thweir babies that were up in the colony begind the beach! They came up little groups and waddled up the shore to find their nests! was amazing! :-)
